⭐️ Talk to the locals. People that live in Barbados are famously friendly and will be more than happy to talk to tourists and make sure that you see the best of the island.
⭐️ Uncover Barbados. Head for the Barbados National Trust and they will show you where you can find some of the island’s landmarks. They also have information on the local plantation houses and sugar mills.
⭐️ Find a festival. The island has a wonderful culture and this can be seen at one of their many festivals. Time your trip to coincide with the annual carnival in July and August or the Food & Wine and Rum Festival in the autumn.
⭐️ Go underground. On the surface, Barbados is beautiful, and there is even more to discover underground by travelling on a solar-powered tram through the tunnels in Harrison’s Cave!
⭐️ Grab a snorkel. If you like exploring underwater, Barbados is a real treat as it is surrounded by coral reefs that can be experienced via snorkelling or diving.
