I have been working in travel for 9 years and at one time I had the chance to work in a bureau de change, dealing with different currencies from around the world and arranging money transfers through Western Union.

When I started my career in travel I enjoyed the lively resorts, with plenty of night life and clubs with Ibiza being my favourite. Now I have a daughter and my idea of the perfect holiday is one we can enjoy as a family.

It makes my job worthwhile when clients come home and tell me what a brilliant holiday they have had. The most challenging part is finding a dream holiday for clients who have no idea where they want to go.

There are so many different aspects to my job and I learn something new every day.

Bulgaria.

I went on a skiing trip to Bulgaria in March and was surprised at the variety of resorts that catered for families, older couples or the more lively resorts for younger groups who wanted to enjoy the apres ski.

Bulgaria offers very good value for money and shows that a skiing holiday does not have to be expensive, it is excellent for first time skiers like myself, and it had given me a taste for this type of holiday.

There are a variety of restaurants and bars to relax after a hard day on the slopes and food and drink are reasonably priced. If you visit the local markets, don't forget to haggle, it's expected and great fun.

My top tip would be to book your ski passes before you go, as it can be expensive when you are there.
