I have worked in the travel industry for 20 years, the last 16 being with Regal Travel and I am now the branch manager of Porthcawl. I feel that our team here in Porthcawl has a wealth of knowledge enabling us to assist you in finding that perfect holiday.
I have had some fantastic travel experiences with both the company and friends/relatives including Thailand, Cuba, Barbados, Greece, Florida, Canaries Portugal and Tunisia. It's hard to choose a favourite destination but I have to say the Italian cities and Lake Garda are close to the top of my list due to the beautiful scenery, fantastic food and vast array of excursions/sightseeing available. I have been to Grenada and Antigua in the Caribbean for my last two trips as I like to holiday in the winter and it's a great time to go there for the weather! I think my favourite destination of all is New York, so good they named it twice!! The first time I went was as a city break packing in all the sights such as Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center and of course shopping on 5th Avenue! I loved the exciting vibe that the city has and found the locals really friendly and helpful. My second visit there was part of a cruise on Cunard's Queen Mary II which was a fantastic experience. I flew out and stayed for a few nights before taking 6 days to sail back to Southampton. I would definitely recommend a cruise as there's so much to do onboard, the service and food is first class and it's a great way of visiting several destinations without the inconvenience of moving hotels and re-packing. It's also ideal for people who are not keen on flying with many itineraries now sailing out of Southampton, Dover and Tilbury. Although having worked previously in travel, I have only
been with Regal Travel for just over a year. Over the years I have travelled to many destinations far and wide including Australia and New Zealand, Hong Kong, Thailand and many of the major American cities including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Just before returning to the UK and to work for Regal Travel, I lived on the Costa Del Sol for 8 years and travelled extensively throughout Spain. My most recent trips have included Bulgaria and Sharm El Sheikh where I stayed at the Sharm Resort(of which we are currently running some exclusive deals) so please do not be afraid to approach me with any questions on the hotel or resort in general. Most recently I have just returned from a wonderful and relaxing holiday to Tunisia where I can happily report that any tensions are non existent and the locals are looking forward to welcoming tourists back to the resorts and hotels. I have worked in Travel in Porthcawl for over 10 years and so have developed a rapport with the locals of all ages. Before having my daughter, I was lucky enough to win a trip to Brazil, visiting Rio, Iguassu and Costa do Suipe, and this is still my favourite destination due to the diversity of the country. I have also cruised across the Atlantic to the Caribbean and visited a number of the islands, all of which were idyllic. However, nowadays my favoured destinations are closer to home and family-friendly, such as Majorca and ibiza, due to the shorter flight time with my little girl. I hope to travel to DisneylandParis by Eurostar in November this year.

I have worked in the travel industry for the past 7 years, and after recently returning from maternity leave it's been nice to get back into it. I have recently returned home from a family holiday in Marmaris,Turkey and had an amazing time. This was my 4th time to Turkey and definetly not the last! In the last few years I have also visited Crete, Cyprus and Sharm el Sheik in Egypt where I stayed in a 5* Thomson Platinum hotel which was stunning.
I have also visited Florida twice, the first time we did a twin centre - 7 nights in Orlando and 7 nights in the Gulf Coast, and the second time we stayed 2 weeks in Orlando visitind the Disney parks and Universal Studios.
