I have been in travel for 15 years and have learnt a lot from my colleagues over the years, now I have experience I feel I can pass this knowledge on to other members of staff. Having said that the exciting thing about the travel industry is that it is always changing, and there are always new destinations to learn about.
It gives me great satisfaction when customers return from their holidays and book with me again and again. It's great to see regular customers as well as meeting new customers and being able to find their ideal holidays. So do not hesitate to contact me if you need help with your holiday plans.
I love reading about new destinations, also hearing about customers holidays which enables me to advise customers on the destinations they want to visit. Whilst working in the travel industry I have been on lots of educational trips and also family holidays, therefore have visted lots of places. I have listed some of my favourites below. Give me a call or email me if you would like any advise or to check a holiday.
Many Thanks
Kathy
I visited Australia in November on an educational trip.
Sydney was the first stop with a climb to Sydney Harbour bridge an absolute must.
We visited Cairns and spent the day at the Great Barrier Reef, what an awesome sight.
Cape Tribulation is an amazing sight where the jungle meets the beach. You literally step out of jungle onto a dream of a beach. Beautiful.
The Australian people are friendly and welcoming, and the food and wines are excellent. I did not want to leave.
My top tip for this destination is to take a pair of walking shoes!
This is a fantastic, comparatively new destination where the ancient and modern meet between the golden sands of the desert and the warm blue seas of the Gulf. The hotels are all of breathtaking designs with gold and marble. The beaches are out of this world and if you fancy shopping then this is the place for you. There is even a shopping festival in Dubai lasting for a month. There are designer shopping malls and old gold centres. You can enjoy championship golf, camel and horse racing or if you are feeling adventurous take a 4wd desert safari. Or enjoy one of the many luxurious spas. English language is prominent so you can feel quite at home.
I visited Israel on an educational trip from work and stayed in Eilat, which is on the Red Sea coast. It is an ideal location for swimming and snorkelling seeing the variety of colourful sea life. A visit to the amazing Dead Sea where you can float around gazing at the blue sky. Jerusalem was a fantastic and fascinating city. We took a trip to the ancient city of Petra which looked as if it was straight of the Indiana Jones film set. Whether you visit Israel for culture, rest, relaxation or to visit the Holy places there is never a reason to be bored.
I visited Turkey and stayed in the resort of Marmaris, which is really busy and great for those looking for a lively time and also for families. It has a huge bazaar in which to haggle for bargains and also a lovely marina and beach. I also stayed in Ovacik which is close to Hisaronu and Olu Deniz, which hosts one of the best beaches in Turkey. There are many excursions that can be booked at your holiday accommodation including the ruined city of Ephesus. This is fantastic trip but take at least one bottle of water with you as there is very little shade available and as you walk through the ruins it gets very hot – not recommended for young children.
Another educational work trip took me to this country, where we visited a few areas such as Golden Sands, Albena, Sozipol, Nessebeur and Sunny Beach. This is a very popular resort with families and it boasts a lovely beach. It is also the busiest area in Bulgaria with a variety of clubs, bars and restaurants. Eating out here is very reasonable.
Most people travel to the Dominican Republic for a lazy holiday on the miles of beautiful white sands under palm trees, and swimming in the clear blue seas. However they finds that there is a lot more to offer. Savour the fine cuisine or more casual fare. Venture 'off the beaten track' and browse unique galleries, antique shops and artist colonies.Play championship golf along the north coast of the Playa Grande then lie back, relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of this resort.
