I began my career in the travel industry 10 years ago, and have been lucky enough to visit many interesting countries along the way, my favourite being Brazil. My first booking was a flight to Tenerife (I remember it well!!) and other favourites include a tour of Canada and a tailor made holiday to Australia with a number of stop overs on the way. I enjoy planning trips and working out the best travel routes to meet my clients geographical needs. I began as a full time trainee and then became a full time travel consultant. However since the birth of my daughter I have chosen to reduce my hours to part time, although my enthusiasm for my job has never waivered

I was the lucky winner of a place on a trip to Brazil, visiting Sugar Loaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer and Iguassu Falls.

I was amazed at how the climate varied from North to South, and although I visited in the rainy season (from May to September) the weather did not spoil a thing

The resort we stayed in was very luxurious but you have to visit Rio de Janiero and take the mountain railway to visit Christ the Redeemer. Another must is a cable car up to Sugar Loaf Mountain to see the views of Copacabana beach
