Day 1 - Sharm El Sheikh

item22aDon mask and flippers and explore the Red Sea's famous underwater world. Think bath-warm waters, multi-coloured coral and exotic sea creatures. Miss it and you really will miss out. Take a trip to St Catherine's Monastery. Religious or not, this place definitely deserves a spot on your sightseeing checklist. Tucked at the foot of the mountain where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments, it's one of the world's most important centres of religious pilgrimage. Inside its imposing walls you'll find a citadel filled with treasures like the 6th-century church thought to be on the site of Moses' Burning Bush.

Day 3 - Aqababa : 00:01 - 18:00

item22bConsidered by many to be the eighth Wonder of the World, Petra's an ancient city carved into sandstone cliffs. Temples and tombs rise out of Jordan's vast desert like a shimmering mirage, just waiting to wow you.

The city's masterpiece, which landed a starring role in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, is the hauntingly beautiful 'treasure tomb'. Its name springs from one of the abstract urns carved into the rock face, said to hold sparkling riches.

Be awe-struck by the incredible Wadi Rum, Jordan's most magnificent desert landscape. Here, massive mountains rise out of the rose red desert sand. If it looks familiar, it may be because you've seen it before - in Lawrence of Arabia.

Find out what all the fuss is about the Dead Sea. Float in the mineral rich waters and smother yourself in goodness from the sea's muddy floor.

Day 4 - At Sea

Day 5 - Port Sokhna For Cairo : 06:00 - 21:00

Come face-to-face with mummies in the Cairo Museum, not to mention artefacts taken from the tomb of boy king Tutankhamun

Snap up spices, silver and hand-woven rugs in the exotic Egyptian bazaars that vie for your attention - and your pounds - in the old city
