Paris Bank Holiday Weekend Itinerary
Day one Your holiday begins with a selected early morning* coach pick-up and a journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 10.30am Ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. We also offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer this option. Upon arrival in Calais, we continue to the outskirts of Paris where hotel accommodation has been arranged for two nights. Tonight we have specially included a return evening transfer to Paris. Once in the city, join our optional evening cruise along the River Seine.
Day two After breakfast, we include a transfer into Paris city centre, where you’ll have the opportunity to join our optional Parisian panorama and highlights of The Da Vinci Code, designed to enable you to see Paris’s best sights. This evening enjoy the Paris illuminations, with our optional Paris by night tour. This excursion includes a visit to the lively Latin Quarter and a trip to the top of the Montparnasse Tower to admire the glittering city below.
Day three After breakfast we include an en route visit to Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur. From here we will rejoin our coach for the return journey to Calais and the 5.30pm Ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Dover/Folkestone. Upon arrival we will return you to your original departure point.
*In order to offer a full itinerary your pick-up times may be very early in the morning or the previous evening; likewise your return drop off will be late and possibly into the early hours of the next day. Final timings are confirmed with your joining instructions.
Hotel Accommodation
We have chosen to base your stay in comfortable, modern hotels where we are sure you will feel at home. Each of our carefully chosen hotels is located within coaching distance of the many attractions on offer in Paris, and we include transfers to and from the city centre on both evenings of your stay. Accommodation has been reserved for two nights in twin or double-bedded rooms with en suite facilities.
